I am so very over all of this Michael Fassbender abuse talk.
Why is it that when the Fassbender Fandom is having a good time someone random always pops up saying things about the case? I get it. Violence against women is wrong and I will never EVER support it. But what happened with someone being innocent until proven guilty? The charges that were placed on him by an ANGRY ex-girlfriend who was said to have done it in the past to another ex-boyfriend for money were dropped and never spoken about again.
I get it. Some women chicken out, but why would she place charges on two different men at two different times only to drop them? I know witness intimidation happens, but there is something extra fishy about this woman that I can’t place my finger on which makes me believe that she’s lying her ass off.
Half of the girls that like Michael Fassbender have more sense than you know and because of this, I highly doubt ANY of us would be fans of his if we thought he could truly commit a crime against a woman. We wouldn’t give a flying fuck if he was attractive or a good actor. So all of you that think we’re only ignoring this lady’s attempt at ruining his career because we loooove him and think we’ll get a chance with him are wrong because it’s not like that. We just have sense enough to call someone on a big fucking lie.
If it comes out later down the line that he actually is an abusive sexist asshole, then hey, we’ll rethink all the nice things we’ve ever said about him. But until then? UNTIL THEN? Let this fandom have a good fucking time and enjoy his accomplishments. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and let us have this moment.
